Frank K. Johnson
P.E., Inventor

 

Mr. Johnson has over 40 years of experience managing civil engineering construction projects worldwide. Most recently he served as the state project manager for the City of Boston overseeing and administering all construction activities related to the $14 billion Central Artery/Tunnel Project (BIG DIG) taking place in downtown Boston within the central artery corridor. In this position, Mr. Johnson coordinated construction activities impacting the city with local, state, and federal agencies as well as private sector organizations. Additionally, Mr. Johnson initiated and co-authored the Joint Traffic Management and Construction Coordination Agreement between the city and state, which gave the city the power to actively participate in the decision-making and management of project construction activities impacting the general public and public ways.

 

Prior to serving as Project Manager for the Big Dig, Mr. Johnson served as Public Works Director for the City of Lawrence, MA. overseeing the work of 400 employees. This department was tasked with performing a full array of municipal services, including engineering, inspectional services, water & sewer operations and maintenance, trash collection and waste disposal services, snow plowing and snow removal services, parks maintenance and recreational services, street maintenance and repair services, and municipal vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Mr. Johnson spent nearly 24 years in the private sector managing civil engineering projects worldwide. Notable accomplishments include senior management role a $15 billion gas gathering project in Saudi Arabia with Fluor Corporation and Project Manager overseeing a $3 billion housing project in Saudi Arabia for the National Guard. Mr. Johnson founded the International Pioneer Company in Thailand to finance, design, build and operate agricultural development programs in Southeast Asia. In this position, Mr. Johnson was required to interface regularly with the highest-ranking government officials in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and the Philippines, as well as with business owners and bank presidents in the region, organize and supervise the work of over 350 local employees, and establish a venture capital firm in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Johnson served as Nuclear Weapons Officer and Gunnery Officer on board the USS Okinawa LPH3 prior to beginning his career as a civil engineer.

Rob Steele
President

Mr. Steele has more than 30 years of experience in product development and distribution in the financial/investment industry. He served on the boards of several companies and as a managing partner/member of various operating LLCs.

Previously, as a founding executive of Rydex Investments, Mr. Steele helped pioneer many of Rydex’s product offerings. Prior to joining Rydex, Mr. Steele was responsible for distribution and product development for The Boston Company’s asset management unit overseeing more that $30 Billion in AUM. Mr. Steele is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in International Business.

As President of Megamold(r),  Mr. Steele takes responsibility for all business development and finance activities. His investment and product development background will enable MegaMold(r), LLC to strengthen its value proposition to the market and execute on the company’s vision.

Jeff Lyons
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Lyons is a business professional with 25 plus years’ experience in accounting, finance, business development, and operations. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor focused on the banking industry.

After public accounting Mr. Lyons embarked on a career in business development selling emerging technologies in the telecommunications and life sciences industries. Through natural career progression and promotions Mr. Lyons’s experiences include VP of International Business Development and Operations Management.

Mr. Lyons’s breadth of experience through various business disciplines brings extensive knowledge of business operations to MegaMold.

As the COO, Mr. Lyons is responsible for organizational leadership, corporate growth, strategic planning, budgeting, and allocation of resources.

Terri Klippert
Business Development

Terri provided technical support for two Boston mayoral transitions, Deloitte Touche and Maximus, developing technical training seminars and providing end user desktop support.

Recently, she developed a subsidiary of a 70 year old wholesale business, managing major events for Reebok, Converse, Universal Studios, MGM, the Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion and the Lawn on D Street.

Terri provides research and business development for MegaMold, connecting our solutions for levees, bridge scour, coastal erosion and emergency flood protection to vital public infrastructure systems.

Terri graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Politics and Government.
